Body is Nature: Movement & Vitality through the Tamalpa Life/Art Process . A movement and expressive arts series inspired by nature, imagination, and embodied creativity. Through movement, drawing/writing, and group exploration, participants reconnect with vitality, expression, and the natural world.

Embodied Narratives through Movement Exploration. Explore the relationship between movement and personal narrative through structured improvisation and guided creative process rooted in Somatic Psychology and Laban/Bartenieff Movement Analysis.

All levels welcome.
We are a collective of migrant women and Registered Somatic Movement Educators. Diana from Honduras, Joy from the Philippines, and Mihyun from South Korea. While each of us works from distinct somatic lineages— Body-Mind Centering®, the Tamalpa Life/Art Process, and Laban/Bartenieff Movement Analysis — we share a commitment to embodiment, creativity, healing, and cultural connection. Together, we offer movement spaces that honor diverse lived experiences and invite participants to explore presence, resilience, and connection through the body.

We are transitioning from workshops to offer regular classes at ODC.! Every month each of us will offer weekly classes based on our somatic background.

We hope that our collective efforts contribute to open more opportunities for migrant women to be part of the somatic dance community and to foster transformative experiences that celebrate diversity.

I want to share explorations of the mechanoreceptors using material from Body Mind Centering and movement science. We will explore the skin mechanoreceptors that provide information about joint position, and discrimination of shapes, textures, light and deep touch and vibration. The idea is to use this material as a starting point to create movement landscapes and relations between movers.
