I am very grateful for the opportunity that Contact Quarterly provide us to publish an article about our experience providing somatic workshops at the International Tribunal of People in Movement that took place in Guerrero, Mexico, in August 2018.  The article was published in the last printed version of the journal in the winter edition of 2020. You can read the paper here.

Thanks so much again to my friends in San Francisco Bay Area who donated money to support my trip!

Hi friends,
Last year I had the opportunity to perform in a site specific piece choreographed by Bonner Odell, and Bricine Mitchell.   I had a wonderful summer, traveling to Crockett on Sundays, to dance and improve in the garden and deck of the house were Bonner and Bricine.
The first piece was choreographed by Bricine, and she wrote in the program:
"The Voyage, A Journey is a site-specific movement narrative that is inspired by the water, trees, hills and sky of Crockett. It breathes amongst what is present here and is informed by its ever changing natural environment. "
The second piece choreographed by Bonner, is titled Learning to Listen and it
" explores the intersection of movement invention with the formal and energetic qualities of tai chi. It is an attempt to listen and respond to what these disparate aspects of my experience have to say to each other."
